Tool # 11

My favorite tools where Wikispaces and Skype. I would like to use Skype to let the children talk to a professional athlete to tell them how important it is to be healthy and take care of their bodies.

This technology has opened many doors in new learning.

I was surprise at how much information was out there to use in the classroom with technology.

Tool # 11

Digital Citizenship - I would teach that you must research and not take the first site as truth. I would teach the children when and how to use the technology and the legal rights and restrictions. I believe that showing and letting the practice works best.

Tool # 10

I do not have any of the technology devices listed here, but I can see how much fun they would be in the classroom. You could pull up information right away to use. The APPS I looked at was Hangman, Paper Toss and Fling Free. All of these would be very helpful in the classroom allowing you to teach and reteach with different tools.

Tool # 9

Jing is a neat way to talk to others plus you can add in items you are looking at so they can see them too.

With Skype you would be able to have students talk to others or authors or someone important in that subject.

I downloaded Jing and plan on downloading Skype, but have not used them yet.

Tool # 8

I went to Teachertube and found two videos. How to make a comic book character and star trek greeting. The first one was really good. Both are in the title and on my gidgets. There where similar videos to watch as well.

Tool # 6

I liked the Wikis. I liked Wikispaces best. For Health Fitness we have have a kids club for each grade and the children could get online and join the discussion's.
